LOCATION: LADYSMITH, BRITISH COLUMBIA

Robert Perry said that the Tayana 52 has the “sweetest sheer” he has ever drawn.  Few yachts exhibit the stunning symmetry, and sheer beauty of the 52.  Whether it is lying at anchor, or playing with high sweeping seas, she is an eye-stopper of the first magnitude – truly a magnificent sailing machine.

This desirable Center Cockpit model with the two cabin, two head layout is now offered for sale.  Comes very well equipped with beautiful, top of the line Iverson dodger, bimini and full enclosure with clear windows and zip-in insect screens, in-mast electric furling mainsail, twin Harken furlers for the genoa and staysail, twin electric primary winches, custom made stainless steel radar arch with electric dinghy davit system, modern electronics including twin radar systems, twin autopilots, SSB radio with Pactor modem, water maker, solar, and a Westerbeke 8 KW generator.  This is a fast, safe and capable world cruiser easily sailed by a couple.

This boat has benefited from an annual maintenance and upgrade program over the years, and has been cruised annually for the past 10 of 11 years.  Most recently in June 2019 two new cutlass bearings, new PSS shaft seal and 300’ of new anchor chain was installed, plus below waterline maintenance was done including new bottom paint and zincs.

Even better, transferable moorage is available in beautiful Ladysmith in BC, Canada – close to fantastic cruising and a great starting point for heading north along the stunning Pacific Northwest Coast.  Spend a season heading north towards Alaska getting used to the boat, before stretching your legs and heading off towards the horizon – this boat will get you there safely and comfortably.
